Centenary

During her third year of her Bachelors of Architectural Studies, Christine designed a speculative celebratory landmark on a chosen site within the University of Witwatersrand's Braamfontein Campus. This commemorative structure would mark the university's 100th year since the its establishment. The brief necessitated to identify the most appropriate site on the campus, one that would act as a place of orientation; while the design had to be representative of contemporary South African architecture.
