Rotunda View

During her second year of her Bachelors of Architectural Studies, Christine designed a community centre, which served as a continuation of the community- based project that was initiated by the row house project earlier in her studies. The site of the community centre is in Rotunda Park, situated at the end of De Villiers Street; the same street where the row house project was located. The community centre furthered the development of the Corridors of Freedom strategy through the design of a public space that could be used for leisure and recreation in close proximity to high- density accommodation.
